Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police SI Grade 4 Recruitment 2021
Education Qualification:
Candidates should have any bachelor’s degree from a recognized board.

Medical Standards:
General:
- Applicants must not have a high color vision or squint eyes
- Applicants must not have any physical deformities
- Candidates with certain diseases such as hernia, piles, diabetes, respiratory diseases, etc. aren’t eligible to apply,
EyeSight:
- Applicant’s near vision should be normal and distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years.

Pay Scale:
Rs.12,000 to Rs.52,000 + Grade Pay Rs.3,900/-
Selection Process:
- Written Test
- Interview
Exam Pattern –
- The total time allotted for the test is 3 hours
- There will be 100 questions and each question will carry 1 mark
- The Exam will total of 100 Marks.
- There will be a negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer
- The paper will be divided into three parts (i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension (ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and (iii) General Knowledge
- Candidates have to respond their answer on the OMR sheet with a black or blue ballpoint pen
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) –
- Long Jump (Male): 335 cm
- Long Jump (Female): 244 cm
- Candidates will be given three chances and the longest jump will be taken into account.
- Race (Male): 1600 meters race within 450 seconds
- Race (Female): 800 meters race within 240 seconds
Computer Proficiency Test –
- 10 marks are allotted for a degree in computer education
- 20 marks are allotted filed practical
