Education Qualification for Class 1 to 5 Teacher
- Applicants passed the Senior Secondary wand 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Applicants passed the Senior Secondary and passed four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.
- Aspirants passed the Senior Secondary and passed or appeared in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Education
- Applicants passed the Graduation or Diploma in Elementary Education
Education Qualification for Class 6 to 8 Teacher
- A candidate qualified Graduation & 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Passed Graduation and a 1-year Bachelor in Education
- Passed Graduation and one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE.
- Candidates have passed the Class 12th and passed four- year Bachelor of Elementary Education
- Candidates passed the 12th with four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation Passed with 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

- The CG TET encompasses 300 questions 1 mark each.
- Every correct answer will get 1 mark each.
