We have good news to share with you (a message from Dr. Raju Sharma).

Recognizing the need for organ based sub-specialty training, the Department of Radio-diagnosis, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has started three fellowship programs with effect from 1stJanuary, 2017.

These include:

1. Gastrointestinal Radiology
2. Thoracic Radiology
3. Paediatric Radiology

These are one year fellowships covering both diagnostic and interventional (vascular and non-vascular) aspects of the relevant sub-specialty.

The eligibility criteria is:

MD or DNB (Radio-diagnosis) followed by 3 years of Senior Residency (or equivalent teaching experience). Admission is on the basis of an entrance test conducted in the months of April/ November by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The test includes a written as well as practical examination. Further details can be obtained from the AIIMS website Sponsored seats for candidates from Government Institutions and neighbouring countries are also available periodically.

The advertisement for these fellowships comes out on the AIIMS, New Delhi website in the months of February/August.
